This Singapore Standard was prepared by the Working Group on Conformity Assessment (CASCO)

under the direction of the Management Systems Standards Committee and subsequently approved by

the Quality and Safety Standards Committee.

This standard is an identical adoption of ISO/IEC 17025:2017,"General requirements for the

competence of testing and calibration laboratories”published by the International Organization for

Standardization (ISO)and the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC).

NOTE 1-Where appropriate,the words "International Standard"are read as "Singapore Standard".

NOTE

1.Singapore Standards (SSs)and Technical References (TRs)are reviewed periodically to keep abreast of technical changes,
